The Eden Series: Book 2
By Lexi Post
Pyrotechnics expert, Serena Upton, wonders if she’s been transported into one of the science fiction movies she works on. It certainly seems so when she’s rescued by three hot, naked men from another planet. She’s whisked away to Loraleaf, their home in the jungle of Eden, with the expectation that she will become their beloved. As they cater to her in every way, she begins to understand what it means to be their chosen one.
Jahl and Khaos risked everything, even the brother of their heart, to bring Serena home, but grief and self-doubt, etched in stone by their own families, seems insurmountable. Their only hope is that she can fill the void in their lives. They succeed in sweeping her up in their erotic passion, but they are unable to capture her heart.
Though Serena cares for Jahl and Khaos, she’s convinced she’s not the answer to their damaged souls. It’s better that she return to her family on Earth before she cares too much. That is, if she doesn’t already.
Too much hurt, too much sorrow buried inside him forced its way to the surface and released itself into Serena’s willing arms.
She stroked his back, soothing his pain. Her body, clothed in her silky wrap, pressed against his as if she would take his sorrow into herself. Wetness on his shoulder pulled him from his pain as concern for her pushed into his mind.
He pulled away to gaze into her face. Tear tracks ran down her cheek. He cupped her chin and swallowed to force his voice to a whisper. “Why do you cry?”
She smiled compassionately. “Because I feel bad you are so sad. Does that make any sense?”
He nodded, unable to say anything else as her sweet confession constricted his chest. In the moonlight, her eyes sparkled, their wet sheen catching the silver light. She was too tempting—like a siren calling to him. He risked everything, unable to resist, and lowered his lips to hers.
Her warm breath melded with his as he tasted her. Her tongue begged entrance to his mouth and he willingly opened to her, allowing her to explore. Her sweetness was intoxicating. He never wanted the kiss to end.
He moved his hand to the back of her head, cradling her. Tentatively, he slid his tongue inside her mouth, fully tasting her sweetness. She groaned as he explored her, indulging his need for her. But he wanted more, to sample every part of her.
Pulling back, he nibbled at her lips before tasting her jaw, her neck, the top of her shoulder. It wasn’t enough. He deftly untied the material behind her neck, letting it fall to the side as he rolled her to her back.
The moonlight shone down upon them. As he lifted himself away, her beauty was displayed before him. He stared, unable to tear his gaze from his chosen one. Her belly rose and fell in rhythm with her heated breathing, her hip bones just making themselves known as she exhaled.
He moved his gaze to her face. “Yes.”
“Are you okay?”
He smiled, the movement filling him with joy. “More than okay. I’m in love.”
Her forehead crinkled. “But how—”
He pressed his finger against her lips. “No. Don’t say anything. Just feel.” He lowered his mouth to her breast and licked across her hard nipple. She sucked in her breath beneath his finger.
Happy to please her, he brought his mouth down and nibbled.
Her mouth opened and she sucked hard on his finger, causing his balls to tighten. He glanced up to see a cocky grin on her face. He smirked. If she wanted to play, he was more than willing.
